Yesterday I put the Strom back together and today I went for a little spin around the neighborhood in an attempt to purge the cooling system.

Sunny but still unseasonably cool....






















I tried another helmetcam video but youtube says it's gonna be another 6 hours to upload! :huh

Howdy Banjo! Good Stuff. I still enjoy checking out your blogtastic thread you got going here. Every time I pass an old delapidated fixerupper house or outbuilding it reminds me of you, or your pics I should say.


Did you have to change any shims on the Strom ? I checked my 2011 last summer at 24k miles and a few were just at the limit so I swapped some shims, probably won't check again till 40k miles.

Nope....it's never been out of spec....exhaust's have been just inside minimum for a long time now but, if the feeler gauge goes in, I leave 'em alone.

I used youtube's 'stabilization enhancement' and I think it made it even shakier than it was before!

Nice K.... Love your hood man. I have to ride for 20-30 minutes to get that nice of riding....


I shot my first a vid a bit ago and used the youtube stabilization... turned out different than yours... it put a bouncy border around it... don't think I like it.

Your video turned out better than this one...lots better. I love those narrow lanes like that too, how far from home was that?

btw...I cancelled the stabilizing edit on this one and it's in original form now.

Not taken with particularily good equipment either. $8 for a video camera that looks like a keychain remote linky and it's just velcro'd to the top of my helmet.

My vid is of northern Baltimore county... nothing to do with Bmore (obviously). 40 miles from my place and just a few miles from the Pennsyltuckey border. The area is a relief valve for us BaltomorAns.
Cam is a contour... and I have no idea how to use it....
