I found the training wheels that my BIL shipped me after my last wreck. I can rip back down to SJC and install them on Tom's bike. :lol3

Damn Cathy, glad you are OK!

It's been so long since I've been out I'll need some of those training wheels.

Glad no one is seriously injured.

As they say, only two kinds of riders. Those that have gone down, and those that will. :deal

I'm a proud bone breaking, riding realist, crushing my first bone at the age of ten, and then about every three years afterwards. :freaky. If you ride, you'd better have good insurance. I rank it as the best Farkle you can invest in.

    Holy Crap.

I stop hanging around this place for a bit and you all start crashing? What's up with that? :huh

Those that are hurt... heal well, heal fast.

Those that avoided injury... glad you are ok.

To all of you... STOP IT! Stop crashing.

Rob is there such a thing as "riding insurance" that one could purchase for just to cover you if riding? My insurance from work is real shitty and I don't work enough hours to cover myself year round, plus with the $500 deductible it has to bad. Last year when I injured my foot at the "kids ride" I had to pay out of pocket to the doc because I hadn't reached my deductible. Later doc try's to bill insurance and the bill gets kicked back to me for more $$$. Two x-rays no folow-up call like I was told I would get.

Sent the doc a thank-you note via "red brick air mail" but forgot to sign it.

I'll never go to that crook again, but every so often I give his clinic a negative report on yelp. (where I found him)

    :freaky

Go with Foremost motorcycle insurance, you get $25000 medical coverage when you get full coverage on the moto.....

When I crashed in 2010, they paid me about $2000 to fix the bike and replace gear, yeah gear is covered. They also paid all medical bills and expenses like first aid etc. 0 out of pocket! Medical bills were about $3000.
And your moto will be coverd for theft, fire, etc.
    Fuck Geico.
    Check it out Grinch.

Foremost is the brokerage side of Farmers. I've always gone with Progressive. 250/500 liability, 250/500 umb, 250 deduc on comp/coll, $150/yr for the KTM and $180 for the BMW.

As for mc only med insurance,. :rofl. Most carriers actually try to exclude riding all together, or for that matter, any risky endeavor. :deal. Just get some good med insurance with excellent emergency room coverage and low to no deduc with zero copayment. It runs about $600/mth, but that's better than the $50k that they spent on my last med bills, including two surgeries. :lol3

If you're really healthy and don't ever go to the Dr, the look into a program called Tonik. It's actually designed for catastrophic medical, not for hypochondriacs that need to go to the Dr for every little thing. Pretty affordable and backed by Anthem BC.
