    Hi,

No I did not. I went with a different kind of paint but I'm waiting until the weather gets warmer so I can paint it outside. I went to Rondex and got myself a cleaner and a spray-on paint adhesive. Don't worry, once my tank has been finished I'm gonna prepare my plastic and paint it ASAP. I'll post pics.

What's the difference between the two, I only see a few minor changes? Engine size? The Crosser looks like a nice machine!

I painted my front fender on the KLR nearly 8 years ago, using Krylon Fusion for Plastic. If your bike is originally Aztec Red, Krylon #2325 Burgundy is an exact match.

Still looks like the day I painted it. No surface prep, except to degrease with rubbing alcohol.

Carl, I noticed they took that 40lb. exhaust can off the Yamaha and stuck on an AKRO.... nice, but lots of $$$$.

I saw the Tenere in Wildwood, nice looking bike for sure, however it too will $20K farkled.

    How incompetent is MPI ??????
I went to the broker for renewal today and the statement in the mail showed the amount of 1362 $ for the bike.
At the broker it changed to1406 $. We gave MPI a call and their response was that their computer is sometimes wrong and to go with the one at the broker. WTF!!!!!??????
This shows again how !X@#! they are.
    MPI :dizave

That's ok with me .I started riding on a XT, rode a few different model over the years and always liked Yamaha. To me it is the no1 manufacturer out of Japan.

Not for me. Although I could easily own a bike from any of the big four Japanese manufacturers, Honda reigns for me - so good they're boring! :D Generally tops in reliability and quality IMO too.

The World Crosser is the same bike as the Tenere', just a "looks" package you can buy to dress it up.

The new 2013 at Winnipeg Yamaha has a $15,999, I spent about $900 on my side cases, so with tax that top white one would run about $19, 500 with taxes and fees.

The BMW and Yamaha are nice bikes for sure but too much $$$$ for me. I'll stick with the KLX and KLR for a while. $20k would almost buy both my bikes with farkles. :D
