The best public road bike ever, indeed. Love mine. I don't see getting rid of it until they come out w/a premium 800 cc version. Still waiting...

They look like Givi Trekker bags to me.

Yep, they're Givi Trekkers, we went for the 33 litre boxes as we thought they suited the bike well. They do a 46 litre version as well but they looked a bit huge on the bike, and bigger than we needed.

That's because most of us on here are Americans and we didn't get silver. Or '07's for that matter.
I don't think our friendly neighbors in the Great White Nort' got them either.

I think the silver looks great BTW.

Wow that's a decent setup! I really need to get on one of these things and give it a try, it may end up being my next new bike. I want a standard seating position and a sporty engine with torque. I have a Bandit 1200 bit it's a bit of a hog (Although good for 2-up traveling), the Versys seems to be much slimmer and more agile.

The MkII models look nice too! :evil

I know most of you are american but didnt realise you didnt get the V till after us(normally you get them before as your a much larger market), as for colour options, you always seem to get the colours we like and vice versa and cheers for the compliment on colour

Not mine, but, I flew to florida and rode this back to Ky. for a friend. Great bike !
Plenty of power , handles well. In the flat riding areas I thought the pegs should be lowered for more legroom, the last day when I got to the mountains and the riding was more fun, I didn't notice the lack of legroom.
