There's been a lot of requests for a patterning of the Ural motorcycle. Well, we finally got access to one and it will be patterned this week. We hope to have the design available in the next two weeks on our website. Thanks! Mike
Now through the end of July! Call us and mention this post and receive $20 off each Tank Vest purchased. This offer will apply to back orders as well! Mike
Trying to get schedules arranged with a couple of folks to get a Ural done. Shouldn't be long but I'll honor the discount if you ask to be added to the back order list on it. Just mention the post in an email to sales@tankvest.com.
There's gotta be a DR650 rider with an IMS tank somewhere in those neck of the woods. Keeping my fingers crossed.
This is a great idea. First I've seen your thread on this. Wish there was one available for the DRZ400 with 4 gallon IMS tank. Curious why you are using a 3rd party shopping cart for your website. Really an unnecessary expense. I can show you how to setup your entire website using an in house shopping cart that will save you money.
hmmm... I'm always willing to look at ideas. Give me a call this evening if you can. Our number is on our site. Oh, and we'll be doing a DRZ in the very near future. I think the owner has one with the IMS tank as well. I'll let you know.
To everyone who's tried reaching us over the past few days. Friday night, we lost power due to the violent storms that came through our area. We've just gotten power restored this morning so please bear with us as we get product shipped and return emails and calls. 100+ hours without power was not fun. But, we survived and are up and running again! Thanks! Mike
Did the storm blow in a DR650? On a serious note, glad everyone is ok and business is back up and running.
I was just over at Sleepy Creek Lake yesterday. If I had any brains, I'd have stopped in and picked one up for the bike.
This needs one. I'll see if there us anyone in your neck of the woods with one of these.....or I could always take a ride.
That's the bastard child of a Harley sportser and a KLR. It's a Harley MT-500, actually made by Arstrong. Most armies in the world use them and have used them for decades. Harley wanted to get the Military contract so they bought out armstrong along with all the tooling to make these. then the Army turned around and said, yea, we're gonna go with the KLR instead. So Harley said fuck, what the hell are we going ot do with all these big green dirt bikes? Each dealer got one, most didn't even bother taking them out of the crate, and they sat and sat because ain't no one spending 12 grand on a big green heavy dirt bike. No matter how tough they are (story goes, they were designed to be dropped out of helicopters for soldiers stuck behind enemy lines). They also did courier work, they were available with dual front panniers for sensitive documents and a gun carrier for the SA85 assault rifle. Here's a pic fully outfitted.
