<HR style="COLOR: #575757; BACKGROUND-COLOR: #575757" SIZE=1> Just called General Store in Yellow Pine and they have fuel. I asked about first week in August; they said no problem or restrictions on amount and it is pumped out of an "old style metering pump". Didn't ask about price...:D

    Wans,
I won't be able to make it this year, I've got a double-header track day to run on the weekend-ending. So, you'll have to ride through forest fires without me! (I hope NOT!) :lol3

(Hope to make it out to your good part of the world later with 4-piece flyrod!)

HA, I will miss riding with you! Always fun. My 5-piece packs smaller, casts farther:evil. I really need to do a focused fish trip some day. The riding seems to always get first priority.

Sounds like we need to coordinate on a "research" project! That would be be tough! :lol3 I could line a Gobi with a garbage bag to hold all the big fish!

Several rooms still available for those what want a warm soft bed :rofl

I was at the grasshopper CG last year while riding the CDR. Got half price entry to the hot springs due to it being half full. Sure felt good after several days without a bath :huh

I am officially invoking the good karma of the bouncing Buddha that rides on the front fender of my son's bike for this ride. Warning, we have found he doesn't work for weather, but good and safe riding is his specialty.

(The mud was pay back for scoffing at my mud hole difficulties and failing to fulfill his group role as a team member. He straightened up thereafter.)

I can see you put in a lot of hard hours prepping for this trip. Well, swing on by that Wednesday morning and I'll share my coffee with ya - that is if I can get out of bed :lol3 :lol3

    Yes, please!

After 40 days and over 4,000 miles riding in Germany, France, Monaco, Spain, and Portugal, it's time to prepare for the 2014 BOM1000. It'll take me a few days to unpack and unwind and play with the grandkids, but I'm eager to head for MT. BTW, at the Horizons Unlimited gathering in Germany, I showed a presentation on the 2012 MT1000. It was very well received as they don't have the offpavement riding that we do.

I didn't realize I posted this earlier in the 2013 thread. I just clicked on a link.

I loaded the routes and tracks to Basecamp. Everything looks good in BC, but some of the routes have problems in my 62S gps. On day 1 AM, the route jumps back and forth in a straight line between highways. It does that in a couple of others also. One of the last days just shows a straight line from start to finish, like it wasn't set for lock on road. All of the tracks seem fine.

    Anyone have any ideas?

I'll look into it in a few days when I download the files into my Montana and 60Csx.

I just made reservations at the Elkhorn. They have a group rate for 8 or more. It is $28 for a single room, breakfast, and free use of the hot springs. I told her that we would probably have no problem getting 8 people to stay.

I talked to Heather and just tell her that you are with the motorcycle group and if we get 8 we get the rate.

So I've read and found this myself, while your GPS is connected to the computer and in BaseCamp select the routes on your GPS and "recalculate" making sure you are using the same map in the GPS and in BaseCamp. I have had to do this on my new 62stc.
