A great little hot dog stand just south of downtown Plattsburgh in upstate NY. Get there quick before it sinks!
My wife posing for her sophomoric husband in minus 20 windchill with cars honking at her...somewere near Indianapolis
Impressive. And taller than it looks....me and this Missus standing near the base. Interesting place: http://www.cabotsmuseum.org/
Ma and Pa Kettle (Schultz actually) - folk art just south of Edmonton on Hwy 22. With my long suffering wife looking disgusted that I'm making her pose with them.
The carving is it's own shocking testimony. It was located a quarter mile hike off an obscure, little used mountain road five miles from anywhere. That, and it's weathering seemed to carry on the sorrow or anger she may have felt.
That's a great picture, AND a great bike! Very cool. (From my understanding the artist Peter Toth, has work displyed in 48 states, or something like that. Definitely a family resemblance!)
I'm guessing they have a coyote problem up there................or at least they used to have a coyote problem.
