Bi Mart. Cubes of Hams for $14.99, that's $0.50 a beer! :freaky
I just keep one handy in the garage, stays cold on the concrete. The 6 packs of fancy shit go in the fridge.

You have concrete on your floor, obviously past the KLR stage. Wow, i'd love a concrete floor...easier to find the broken Doohicky spring!! :D

I'd actually just love a bigger stable! :cry

Only a KLR owner would look for a broken spring. :lol3

Note- There has been some rumors going round of a friendly inmate who is thinking of hosting a KLR Techday in Portland. I won't "Out" them yet though ;) But if it happens, they are fun to attend.[/QUOTE]

"IN!!"............oh wait....right, that KLR tech dayis in my modest dwelling in Gresham,

APRIL 20, the day after the infamous alley sweeper :evil

Thanks, Scott, yes, we had a good time !

Will have a fine BBQ and fix any KLR that'll happen to roll on it!

    Squishy! :clap you in?!

I will try to be there for sure, had a good time last time you put it on.

Always a good way to learn about wrenching & to see how other cheap basturds convert hardware store items in weird & wonderful ways on a motorcycle! :D

I'd love to show up and meet some fellow PDXers. I'm out in far east Portland, close to Gresham. Got enough mechanical skill to get in trouble, too. :lol3

    I'd show up.
Just as long as it's on a Sunday. (I work Saturdays)
It'd be fun to meet some peeps.

    Keep us posted.

Sweet! I missed this last year.
I'll be leaving the Irvington (NE pdx) area if some peeps wanna rally together.

I personally would love to do a valve check...
And maybe a fork oil change and drop some progressive springs in.

    should be fun.

I'll probably come out for that, too! Scott_PDX (hi Scott!) helped me check mine last fall, but we had to order some shims and then I never got around to actually replacing them. Got everything ready to roll, though. I am also in NE Portland, so I'd be down to meet up and ride out with some other folks.

Thanks for setting this up B-Skye. I'm planning on coming out also, provided I make it alive through the Alley Sweeper!

I see you made a post on KLR650.NET, that should drive some more KLRazies out :D. KLR World might be a good cross post also (Haven't looked there myself). Let us know what to bring/contribute to the festivities. I'll try to make it earlier this year than your last one.

Don't forget - for those of you who are going to check valves to get there early and work on something else for a couple of hours. Your engine needs to be cold to get an accurate reading. I'll bring my meager valve collection and Doo tools as well.
