Jax - First time I'd been on those particular roads, and I had to go back and check a detailed map to try and figure where that water hole was. Best I can recall, it was a side road off the south side of Black Bill Road west of but not far from the Franklin Co./Adams Co. line marker. The side road was slight downhill rutted double track, but wasn't gated or marked with any of the "Only vehicles authorized by the DCNR are authorized..." posters. At least, I didn't see any and I'm sticking to that story.

One day I'm going to ride the DualSport and the enduro there. I will know way more about the layout of the land then. I have also thought about renting a quad and riding the trails that way. \
I am just a friggin fool for PA State Forests and mountain riding no matter where is it.
    Thanks for your input. :thumb

Latest camera (nikon coolpix) lasted a week before something :augie broke the lcd. Less than50 pix from it... :cry I am a SUPER KILLER of cameras and gps units.

The enduro was canceled for Sunday. What time of day were you up there? It was a little chilly coming thru the mountains by
    Thurmont around 1pm.

    Hey BoothDoc,
I went through Thurmont this morning around 0930. By 1300 I hit Mount Holley Springs.
Funny day weather wise. Cold rain and thick warm sun. Never knew what to expect around the next corner.
Why did they cancel the Enduro?
    We should ride together someday.

    Hey Jax;
They canceled it earlier this week.
I took the MSF class this morning and tomorrow morning with my 16yr old son in Hagerstown. I would love to go riding up there with you. Gravel and I get along real well.
My son and I rode to class this morning and it was really nice out but a little foggy.

Pm me when you are thinking of heading up that way again.

I heard the rangers cancelled it because of all the rain they have had.

It would have been a mud bath on the trails, but I was pretty impressed at how little mud and washover was there yesterday. I am sporting a well worn tkc80 on the front and a conti trail attack rear, and i never so much as got a little washy.

You went there today? You didn't even say anything before you left! How do you expect others to ride along? How selfish can you be!! Enjoying life while others suffer at work!!!

Yes you are! I thought I figured it might be harder to loose being all purple. :lol3
I still don't have any idea what settings it is on.... I really did bust the lcd just after getting it.

HAHAHA no didn't go today. Was Saturday. I really couldn't decide weather to ride out to Accident to get the tag or go to Michaux..... Michaux wins every time. It is only 65 miles to Michaux:deal

I'm gonna gush a bit.... And I know I am leaving MANY folks out who inspire me!!!!
I truly can not believe how cool ADVrider is ... Not being much of a writer, I have no words to express how in their debt I am. But here goes my best try:
I don't do any other online social networking because ADV is enough. I am generally a loner with the attitude "piss off, I have enough friends", but I have connected with and become friends with more folks than I would ever have dreamed thanks to ADV/ These people, my friends, have enriched my life! Like so many things in life, I can't imagine how I got along without them.
Where else can you find: Striking Viking, Darth Peach, Prometheus rising, Signal, Metaljocky, kyBanjo, Dave6253, LOST RIDER, IDave, Kamchat, party boss, HBN and sOOOOO many international (non usa)(AND USA) folks who are posting the most informative, funny, human experiences? NOWHERE!!!
Where else can an ol fucker like me find SO MANY LIKE SOULS?
    SO many Rides?
    SO many events?
SO many great photos and videos?
    So much life being lived?
    NOWHERE>

    Thank you Baldy!
Thank you Gadgetboy, lobby, Retro, Philspace, Jonny Drunkard, Chander, I know I'm leaving some out but ALL YOU FOLKS who make the wheels turn, THANK YOU.

Love the MeeSho too. Rode the enduros up there all the ninety's. They have triangle rocks. All rocks have a point. Very brutal. Shen Valley has rectangle rocks. Ja?

Love the ADV. I tried all of the dating sites and none of those girls ride bikes........I agree your sentiments on ADV.....

There are many rides all over the place and I still have no one to ride with.....who is going where and when, I can't keep up. I still have the same knob on the XR from Spring LF!!!!!

    Next Micheaux ride, lemeknow!? Ja?
