Btw I cam home via habberton rd, and somehow missed the brewery, I saw it on a map just now, I guess you have to be looking backwards when going south to see it?

no sign at the rd or anything?

it was maybe 45 minutes -hour after we all left TnT when I went through there.

is the barn near the chicken houses at the top of the hill?

perhaps google maps places the green arrow at the wrong location!

So you can get booze on Sunday in Springdale, but not in Fayetteville? What possible rationale can there be for that? God I frickin' hate blue laws. No such thing in Nevada, one of the only redeeming qualities of living there. (That and the riding.)

it will be sold here on sundays too before long

but from what I understand it happens first up there?

not sure the rhyme or reason, if there is even any.

In Missippi when I was growing up, there were "package" stores, sold liquor and wine, no beer.

as I was a late teenager, younger influx of people voted to sell beer, so the old folks turned right around voted liquor sales out.

so the state lines ( TN, and AL) stayed in business either way!

they sold beer before, and liquor later!

    ridiculousness.

Sorry I missed today, came down with a stomach bug last night and had me whooped most of the day.

Missed a lot of conversation on here it looks like.

Cool picture Charlie! If leaches is all you picked up over there you did good. :evil

On the topic of Concealed Carry - Arkansas sucks when it comes to carry laws. You cannot have a loaded weapon in a vehicle unless you have a concealed carry permit, and then it has to be out of site. If you are carrying it has to be concealed at all times. Also you cannot use it to protect yourself unless it is a last resort. They say if you can flee or avoid in any way that should be done first.

When we take our cross country trips I check the laws in each state before we go to make sure I know how to carry. Almost all states now recognize Arkansas permits with the exception of IL, OR, CA, and some states in New England. Most of the western states will allow you to have a loaded weapon in a vehicle. OR and IL both say that the gun has to be in a locked case unloaded with the ammo in a separate location.

Matt you are right about the skill of some people. When I was taking my class when we went to the range to shoot for qualification, the lady next to me could not even load her automatic. The instructor had to show her how - and she still passed....:eek1

One good thing about always wearing a jacket for protection - it gives you a good place to conceal.

I highly recommend getting a conceal carry permit. Really came in handy the last 2 weeks. I bought a couple of guns, and didn't have to wait for the call in. At Cabela's the guy in the lane over from me had been waiting for an hour and a half while they were on the phone. Took me about 10 min for the whole transaction. :clap

Think that catches me up. :deal

Thanks. I stopped to fish at The bridge by the Blue Spring ramp and did not catch anything but sunshine and a profound sense of peace. All and all, a great day fishing. :clap
