Well, I got as far as Franklin, NC before a car stopped short in front of me. These old bikes don't have ABS and I braked on a tar snake. Down I went. Now with several broken ribs I thought it might not be a good idea to continue. I did manage to ride 120 miles home. Today I am stiff all over but a little Demerol helps. I feel bad that I ordered a shirt but won't be there to pick it up. I would still like to pay for it though. Just let me know.

Weather in and around the rally and antique show not looking good for today.

I didnt make it, as mentioned earlier, since I am coming up for the Georgia Mountain Rally in Hiawassee next weekend. It's a 1000 mile trip just there and back each time for me.

Take care y'all and be careful on those wet roads.

    There and back.

Great night last night. Good to see everyone coming in. I got in early and started on the Dale's Pale Ale... urp. Great meal!

Got up early, broke camp, and had a fantastic ride home - nothing but clouds in the valleys, and you could see for miles. Made it home to the hot tub. Good soak before it started raining.

We then hit the bike show and brewery. Rained copious bucketfuls, but a good showing. Had the sun been shining, it would have been great. No question, the two IPA's were good, and friends won two of the three bike awards :clap

On the schedule for next year, for sure. Here's to hoping the sun shines.
