Is there a potty in there somewhere? I see a dump valve, but only scanned the pics. Oh, thanks for the right side pic.

I'm about 1/2 way through the build thread, he mentions a potty & a hot shower--- "to keep it Mommy friendly."

I have yet to see how it is set up.

The square panel with the grille hides the water heater. The rectangular door to it's right above the waste drain is an exterior shower faucet.

no need to have an on-board water heater................

We used to have a teardrop that we pulled behind my hot-rod. (tons of fun!!)

At a teardrop gathering, we saw a few folks who brought their 'own' bathroom with them.

    start with one of these...

    add a porta-potty...(of course)...

    and then add onna these....

    A portable water heater!!

Awesome idea!! All the hot water you'd ever want. Just keep the propane full, and keep the water comin'.

Imagine coming in off the trail, all sweaty and dirty, to your own nice long hot shower...right at camp!! :deal

(the womens love 'em!!!) :norton :clap

    That's what I think.
    Comfortable bed with heat/ac? Check
    Hot running water? Check
Able to take a shower? Check
Still feel like you are camping? Check

Hitting a bunch of sweet notes with me. (Haven't asked about pricing though)

This reminds me of a trailer I saw on a TV show a while back. I think It was Extreme 4X4, on Spike TV. They built a similiar unit, only it was three axle, gooseneck, and I think 30' so it could haul a trail rig on it. Was really cool.

Built a wicked diesel powered Hummer clone on an old suburban chassis to tow it with. It was really cool.

Any one have any idea what that door is from? I've checked/looked/googled everything I can think of but can only find full sized doors for caravans (I think you blokes call them RV's or trailers??)

I don't know if it these doors--- but here is one source I found by googling "build a teardrop + doors + suppliers" (or close to that)

Here is the url where I found that.

There are always a few sellers on Ebay (USA) that have those doors. I searched Ebay (AU) for "teardrop door" and got no results. I then searched Ebay (UK) one USA seller popped up. Maybe he would ship to Australia.

How big of a door do you want?

I will be near some of the RV surplus places tomorrow?
And keep in mind some of the larger windows double as escape "hatches" so you could, with a slight modification, use a window..
