I've kept a close eye on the Ninja 650's since 2008, and went and looked at the new 2012's a few weeks ago; such very nice motorcycles! It's too bad that I have to be passenger conscious these days when looking at my next motorcycle purchase, because if I didn't have to worry about 2 up riding... I'd definitely have a Ninja 650!

At least you can get one.

I really don't care for fully fared bikes. I would've bought the ER6n if they imported it here. I really like the 2012s.

2011, I think. There are always some '08 and '09s on craigslist.

The redesigned 2012 is really nice looking.

There was never an '08 ER6N here in the states.

Blue model in "09, Flat Black in '10, not available since.

:tb Awwww hell at that white one. That belongs in the Toxic Britney thread. If they still brought it to the states I'd be all over it.

I don't understand the business end of NOT selling it here. It's obviously already jumped all of the hurdles involved, EPA, Hwy safety, etc....

You'd think they would allow a special order.

    I don't get it......

I love the white and the ABS, and my recent test ride was spot-on.

This is going to cost me $$$

I rode my 07 Ninja650 for the first time in quite a while today. The CBR250R is much better dialed in and smoother. Better handling, lighter, better clutch and trans, better shifter, better ergos, better seat. And much cheaper. For anyone under 6 feet tall and 200lbs looking for basic transportation, the new Honda is a great bike. Over 6'1 and 250lbs, the CBR will feel slow so the next best bike is the Ninja650 which can still get good fuel economy if you stay out of the revs.
