Hi again Those pictures are taken in Sirince. It's a very small village on a high mountain close to Kusadası. A real piece of history!! So admire the greatest olives and olive oil accompanied with Mediterranian salad and lamb meatballs. The wite drink in the copper cup is Ayran. A veerryyy traditional drink of Turkey made of plain yogurt, water and salt.
But where are the beans, black pudding, and fried bread, that must be a soft northern type of watered down breakfast
These photos will end up in my ride report too, but I figure I should add them to this thread for all to see :dg Bacon Wrapped Prawns/Shrimp (they were big, are they still considered shrimp?) with rice n beans and an avocado in San Felipe, Baja Mexico during the 08 Baja 1000 practice run! One of the best breakfasts I had in San Felipe at our hotel... a prawn omelet!
Sat outside today in the sun and enjoyed this pastry delite in the Ontario Village of Creemore Ontario...Cranberry cinnamon bun and cappucinno courtesy of the Bank Cafe...10/10...and the weather too!

"Schweinsbraten mit Knödel" - Roast Pork with dumblings - my favorite austrian food, here in the "Waldviertel", on a ride north of Vienna there's Serbian Fishsoup simmering in this kettle; believe me, Serbs know something about food and that was not on a bike trip, but on public transport through the Sahara in February 1990 - Gazelle quarter cooked in hot ashes The Gazelle had been chased with the Truck untill she was exhausted and than killed with a knife the equipment for Tuareg tea ever present those not so brilliant photos were made with a disposable camera - had to sell my Pratika to keep on travelling Camping out with the Turkish Enduro Club Meat and different Vegetables in that Wok -tried that at home since- Yummi "Mahlzeit"
I lived three years in India; it's a bit of a chance on one hand, on the other hand : - you will have an "adaption" of your bowels, whenever you move somewhere far on a plane- even when we go back to Europe once a year it happens. - most cases of food poisoning i have seen actually happened in up scale hotels/restaurants - the old "cook it, peel it or forget it " has some value which means dig into the stuff !!!
