It's a winner if this is were a photo site and we are looking for great pictures. But for an ADV site, this is too professional, too posed. The front page should be about capturing the essence of ADVRider, not about who can generate the best picture using studio tools.

Don't take me wrong - love the pic, wish I had on like that of my kids. Just don't think it is front page material.

Most of the pics here are posed in some way or another. I think there is (and should be) room on the front page for a variety of styles.

Jep, i think you´re absolutely right...!! I collected nearly 700 pictures from ADVRider for my home screensaver and there is a choice of everthing... posed, random, some "kamchat riding", and so on...

So let´s go on with this varity of style!!

Uh, the Chiricahua Mountains? Although the Chihuahua Mountains sound kinda small and cute (but maybe a little yappy).

I get what your saying, but to others advrider is as much about a lifestyle as it is about motorcycles. Adding the lifestyle into the photo is what this image was about. It's representative of a different kind of adventure, but an adventure none the less. Posed or not, it's about variety. Isn't a bike parked in front of a landscape technically a posed shot? What about a photographer who rides ahead to setup and capture a ktm or gs hitting a water crossing or jump hard?

The father's garage, a cheap led light, and my camera where the only tools used just as an FYI. No studios here.

I think this picture says a lot.....this sport gets in your blood early in life and lasts forever. And 988 other words.
