Steroids for sure....and trying that ONCE at the Billings hill climb, I'd say the riders are far more freakier than the bikes they ride. Their stones are bigger than watermelons. Did a modified run with a freak like rose and pissed myself. :eek1

its ugly and the seat cover tore on the way to slap last year.
Started life as mild mannered XT550.
    n
Now, its powered by TT600 with the xt550 flywheel and electrics.
out back is a YZ465 shock,
The front is from a XR350.
The muffler is from the donnor xr too.
This thing is a joy to ride and well balanced and is like a tractor.
Just roll the throttle and it pulls it out.
    Hope it fits in here...
On a side note I built a 5 gallon fuel tank too.
Just need to por15 the inside it.....

I am hoping to start her up by months end before I disassemble for final weld clean up and detail.

Fabrication is slow when parts are difficult to find. Got a brake and foot peg set from Roland Sands but they do not make a matching shifter piece so I need to turn one and then attempt to copy the rubber boot. This custom sheet is hard. connecting wiring and setting battery in box in the next few days. Stay tuned for a video of her running sans muffler. Open pipe for now. I will have to fab up an insert to quiet her down a bit.

My Yamaha XS 750 Track Master Frame Street Tracker. She's a roller now. Next month she'll be a runner. KTM Duke 990 front forks. Shell Thuet 650 motor with 750 kit. Still looking for a metal tank to replace the stocker. Doesn't have the look I'm seeking. Long time coming but she's getting closer.

The Barnsdorffer Special finally breathes. Sans a few switches and routing of the wiring loom, I am ready for the final "do-hickie" welding and attachment of things bought to make this freak a reality.

Sadly FrankinSteene has been regulated to the back of the garage whilst I finish the Barnsdorffer Special and my Yamaha XS 750, "My bikes faster than yours" Street Tracker.

Well It's almost time to do the final check before dissemble and weld all the joints. She starts and runs, in the shop anyway. "Jones-ing" to take her for a ride. Here she is as of today.

"The Barnsdorffer Special" 650 Super single. Rigid tail 2006 Honda XRL 650 conversion. Falicon Rod, Balanced crank- 680 cc, (engine by Cycle Engineering Factory), Mikuni FC41 pumper carb, XR 650R front suspension, Rad Mfg 18 inch wheels with Firestone 4.50 tires, Joker Machine controls, 1932 Dodge headlight, solid copper fenders, custom bend bars- Tri-C Engineering, custom bend stainless steel exhaust. Cables by Terry Cable.
Custom paint will come after I weld and grind frame. I'm still missing a few parts a well, but it's close....

To re-animate Frankenstein (so to speak), what's the current status of the Barnsdorffer Special, Motomochila? Just curious as to whether it's finished and being ridden. If so, how are you enjoying it?
