I don't go west of the 17. My bike runs poorly so far from the sea air.

Plus if I make the grab it will sit for weeks as my next tag is well off the beaten path.

Off the beaten path is good! Just as long as it is findable.

It's not that far west of the 17. Besides, I'm anxious to place my next tag too, it's a little off the beaten path, but there is at least some good food involved.....:D

I actually started out for this one on Monday the rain started when I hit the bridge by the time I passed the super Walmart the weather had turned to complete bullshit. Normally since I was already soaked I would have continued but this day I decided to enjoy the balmy warm air and left my helmet, jacket, and gloves at home. Needless to say the idea of riding 4 hours in the rain did not appeal, so I turned around and got some seaweed snacks from trader Joes.

I had to look at your profile page to see if you owned a Harley when you said that you left your helmet jacket and gloves at home. :huh

Nah, sometimes it's just nice to feel the wind in your hair... Besides the world's going to end tomorrow.

Wouldn't the end happen in the Mayan time zone? I'm sure they didn't account for Greenwich mean time when predicting the end of the world.

If they could predict the end time, surely they could predict something as simple as a time zone.

Personally, I think they simply picked a good place to take a break.

Little chilly this morning but here I am in Horry county picking up the "Court House" tag. The City is Conway and is usually just a pass through for me going to Myrtle.

Good man braving the cold. My feet are still numb and I was only out for an hour.

I'm trying to come out with another thing to do when I'm out that way, visit a state park or something.

Since I had to go work in Georgetown for a couple of days, I figured I would save this lonely tag of Gimpy's

This new tag is somewhat, ok, a lot closer to the coast. The church was used until 1974 until it started getting too run down and the diocese opted not to try and restore it. A friend of mine used to go there when it was complete and even got some of the original brick when it was partially destroyed. Not bad for a building from 1734. Combine the name of the diminutive singer/musician who once had an unpronounceable symbol for his name and a fellow who has a lingerie shop in Hollywood, Ca named after him, and you might stumble upon this original gem.[IMG]

Nice grab, that poor tag was getting lonely out there.
