Took my new-to-me '03 Tiger 955i off road for the first time today. Stupid me I forgont to bring a real camera, so all I had was my cell phone:

I got a good ways, but I was alone and after a couple near misses where I had to power out of a fall, I decided to turn around for the day.

A big ol Gravel Monster reached up and grabbed me and did the Body Slam thing on me!:D
Broke 4 ribs, knocked a shoulder down, and broke a bone in my Ankle.:huh
I only lacked 30 miles getting to Deadhorse:evil
That is a wonderful place to be alone ,broke down ,and broke up at Midnight.:cry
A Truck picked me up about 20 min. later. From there on it was all good.
Good care, good drugs, good jets, and very good people.:norton

This weekend I did remember to bring my camera. Updates to note: I replaced the Tourances at 11k with a new set of Maxxis Presa Detours. So far so good. Also just recieved and installed the TOR exhaust--a little more power and so noise to remind me the engine is still running. The following pics were taken on Rts 52 and 59 between Cuchillo, Winston, and Beaverhead, NM in the Gila wilderness.

I didn't get off road this trip, but the pavement ends at Beaverhead, and keeps going as lots of dirt roads in many directions. And for those who love twisties--about 70 miles of nothing but (paved.)

That windscreen/fairing looks great! Does anyone know who makes it? Also, is it just me or does the suspension look a lot higher than a stock steamer? This bike has a good rallye look to it...any info would be great.
