http://www.mikesxs.net/ http://www.650central.com/ Both those mobs are great people, use them all the time to get parts here to OZ, haven't had any problems with shipping, etc. Cheers Baza
.Here is one of my projects, an old Tracy body that my brother had in the mid 70's. I found it about 5-6 years ago, haven't done anything with it as you can tell. Maybe I'll sell it, I dunno, but I know it has potential. . .
It is all fiberglass except for the bung for the fuel cap and taps for the petcocks which are steel. .
Hunter, Hi, How the TT600 and XT 600 do it the ocr? I have a XT600 and a TT600 too. Also a Xs650 for the street and putting together a XS 650 for the dirt. I putting a XT500 front end on and will put a 2 into 1 high exhaust. Run a big can it the end. 13 inch rear shocks too. What length are you running on your xs 650? A Xt500 rear wheel too. Gearing? I run a 18 tooth on my road 650 and no vibs. Thanks ED
I am looking to make my own set of headers, but I need the dimensions which enter the cylinder head. I like to avoid pulling my own bike apart at the moment, so if someone has something they can measure for me, that would be awesome!
I've been playing with these things since "03" here are a few past and present... And one shot for the dirt lovers
I see no dimensions, olddude? It's specific numbers I am after now. Total length from collar, lenght of collar.
It's cool I knew you mixed us up bike you have there looks good, plenty of tails to chose from, try "glass from the past" or <CITE>www.airtech-streamlining.com/ </CITE>
I guess it could work, but those "ears" would need to go :) This is also nice! It matches the tanks boxyness and is of a good lenght. The main issue is getting the tunnel a bit wider though, or relocating the coil, again.
Like the bike, I can see why you're putting a sidecar on, can't keep the front wheel on the deck, good bush outfit should do the trick! Cheers Baza
Hi Ed, hell ya I'll ride off road with it I ride my xs650 all year here in New England and beat the living crap out of it off road too My wife loves going off road and the sidecars are a means to take her with me. I'll be hanging the chair on the right side, this way if I have to pass someone on the street I won't have to depend on her screems to let me know if there is a car comming And Beza, I'll be sure to post the sidecar wheelies for ya <iframe title="YouTube video player" width="480" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/4X7p1K2DvAo" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> <iframe title="YouTube video player" width="480" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/pDtY7_H1ABY" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
