G'day Hegy Leave it as it is. Looks great just the way it is. Has that lived in look. Patina or whatever the snobs call it. 3legs
I agree, and that is always a debate....fix just whats needed or do it all. Right now it's bit by bit. Cause in her present shape she is just a towne, run here and there for those gingerly strolls and the ocassional visit to the breweries around lovely Northern Colorado. Thanks for the props though
??? some early 40s Cheby my cholo nephew's cholo brother drives now and again. never caught my interest. meh, they didn't think much if the sidecar either.
A bunch of guys and girls from the largerst motorcycle Forum here in the Netherlands had a rideout on Sunday to sponsor research and aid to kids with cancer ( KIKA ). Started as a small topic but in the end just under 1500 motorcyclists attended despite the bad weatherforecast which resulted in over 13.500 There were hunderds of pics taken and behold, even the old compressor with the icecreamstand at the side was photographed Other hacks included: and this one, with a handicaped-parking sticker:
Here you go: Where were you ? I didn't believe your story for one moment Halflive posted he was afraid the rain would stain the chrome on his bike and sidecar and that he'd have to spend all Sunday washing and polishing it
I know what you are saying. However, not ALL of these bikes had fittings for sidecar attachment. This one did not. We have another R27 coming in soon that also was not built with provisions for sidecar attachment either.
Thats new to me, i haven't seen any R27's without sidecar fittings yet. @Nitromax: no, the weather didn't bother me, i needed time to do up my commuter bike. I spend the whole day overhauling brakes, chancing tires and salvaging what the winter left behind.
Too bad you and BMWoman weren't there but it sounds like a job you just had to do Found another pic, taken from an overpass (can you see the big grin on my face ? )

When Phyllis gave me the USB key with the pics for the end of the "Man from Tallarook" sidecar build (Aussie Forum) he said "There's some other sidecar photos you can post up if you want to". So here are the ones that may be of interest. If you have a question, direct it to Phyllis. I'm just the messenger
