So the Corbin smuggler trunk will fit with a standard (non-Corbin) seat? Looks great!

Yeah, it's interchangeable with the pillion seat. You can swap one for the other in about 30 seconds.

Can anyone recommend an economical solution to replacing or freshening up the rear shock on my '92 ST1100? Bike has 75k miles and bounces like a pogo stick. Thanks in advance!

I just posted over in the Flea Market that I am looking for a nice low miles competitively priced 06 or 07 ST1300. Prefer non-ABS. If you know anyone wishing to sell please let them know. Logistically the Southeast is best.

Today was a good day. I happened across a 2006 ST1300 with only 9,400 for a great price. It was a one owner black non ABS model which was exactly what I was hoping to find.

Now...what is the best windshield for a 5'10" guy?

    Thanks to all,
    Barry

I'm 5'10" and find the standard one OK, just a bit too much wind noise though..........If there are better (quieter) ones out there, I would also be tempted.

    Enjoy your new ride.

I am similar height although I'm an ST1100 guy...I have demo-ed ST13's a few times...I found the stock electric w/s worked fine for me...I am deaf without my hearing aids...and thats how i ride so i cannot comment on how noisy the w/s was...as it was a non-issue for me...but I did find the w/s offered everything I wanted in wind protection or not...so I'd go with that 1st and then see if that works or not...alot of times people immediately start farkling a new bike befre even riding it that far..one needs to know what realy is working and what isnt...rather than just throwing money around...unless you have alot of disposable income ofc...:deal

I'm 5'8" and was using the laminar lip for a while and liked it a lot, just didn't like the looks on the ST... so, I went with a company in the UK called bike quip and they have a shield with a slight flip that produces about 90% of the same result as the laminar lip.
