    Gawd, I miss mine. :cry

Everyone else is posting the dirt shots, so here's me at a track day on my '02. Stock everything, including the Metzeler Saharas.

Awesome. I have thought of running yours/mine/it at a track day. Saharas do well, or would you go for something else?

That was my only track day foray on the 640, so I have no basis for comparison.

The Saharas stuck like glue at first, but went greasy on me as the day wore on. I ended my last session early because they were getting pretty squirrelly.

I had a set of Metzeler Karoos waiting to go on the bike, so I wasn't worried about abusing the Saharas.:D

Note the seat height in relation to leg length in this photo.

Its a wee bit tall for me but I love it!!

    O2 with almost 9k miles.
No issues. I have not done the main bearing upgrade.
Added a Scotts stabilizer and the Renazco seat which has about 5000 miles on it and still looking good. I have spent very little time on the pavement but I could see it being a blast in the twisties.
Super nice suspension on these things:evil

Been on a few trips. A lot of remote desert riding.

I got this bike not because it was fun, fast, has good suspension, fast, good brakes, fast but good fuel range. 500kms is a must around here.

I want to do this with mine someday. When I was recovering from my wrist injury I spent all my riding time in the twisties and got a pretty good feel for how low you can go. I also raised the forks in the clamps and dropped the front by about an inch, which helped make it steer a little quicker. Actually managed to drag a peg once or twice in some real tight, lower speed turns :D
