I'm pretty much a hack, but I have been blessed with the ability to see the picture in my mind sometimes before I take it.

I also have a photographic memory.
Ask me what day of the week something happened was, and I might be stuck for an answer,
but ask me what color the stripe on the tiny jar sitting in the corner at that shop in Martinique 20 years ago was and I could tell you.

And for all the smart asses out there, it was blue

When I was younger, I worked on a farm that had a 1947 dodge powerwagon... starter on the floor, pre-synchromesh transmission...would quite literally climb a tree! When we got it out on the road, up in high gear it was doing about 35 max, but the speedometer read 85!

Not too shabby of a ride for a DS 650.
Nothing terribly flashy about it,
but I was pleasantly surprised, esp after hearing the bike get slammed over and over..
I give it a thumbs up for a good 'get on and go' bike.
Wouldn't mind plinking around in Alaska on one of these

Yep, the stock seat is a torture rack. After 10,000 miles my butt was to done with the ride.

This would be a much more suitable bike to bring if you ever make it back up to VanIsle again...

Hey Peach, Been following your thread for ages... I got to walk across the Bridge last year this time when i was visiting. Brought back nice memories. Hope somone spoils you with lots of Chocs!

BUT……….The new tiger 800 is almost out..
A friend of mine got to ride it a couple of weeks ago and said it was AWESOME.
