Wow, very cool! I was wondering if I was the only one with an SE on the ice. My front tire is a bit worn, so she likes to tuck in the corners now and then:lol3 Third gear coming off the corner WFO is the best feeling ever while the thing claws for traction and the ass end is stepped out:deal

The ice is a different animal dog. Its all about tires and getting the power to the ice and the KX must have great tires and the longer swing arm.

The amount of time it takes to get a good ice tire set up is amazing, the tire screw angles and the "tune" is really important.

She's a born ice racer. Albeit a portly one.

Yup. Hate to say it but he beat me every time I raced him.

I really started gaining on him big time by about 3/4 track but it was always too late. Im only running Kold Kutter ice screws & I was really hurting for traction.

He was running a 60hp KX with a 30hp nos shot, and an extended swing arm, with real ice pics.

Im going to buy an extra set of rims that I can dedicate to the ice.

    Its pretty addictive!

Hell yea:clap I'm running a Fredette Canadian screw rear and a custom Kold Kutter front and they work well even on the big girl:lol3 Here's a vid of me getting chased by my buddy Greg on his 450 KTM....

They could pass me in the tight stuff, but they had to earn it:lol3
In the straights, I could pull him but not by much and I also needed to brake much earlier to be able to get it to turn in. Its always a negotiation with the 950. I think I'm going to sell my Berg, its too small for me anyway:lol3

Howdy Dan! :wave How the hell are ya?

Looping won't be a problem for me this year as I am just going to add another 500 or so Kold Kutters to my tires. But those picks really look like they hook up.

Im thinking with picks, I might need to join the extended swingarm club. Like these guys.
