I will leave this one up to the FFs to comment on. I rode down on my stock DRZ "White Knight" as the non-leader in a non-group of 4 on Saturday and came back up to find this "Orange Hell" situation. I won't name names

Home, safe. Lost the trailer lights at night twice forcing a couple unplanned adventures. 30 hours of cage and trailer plus a two hour rain ride from Silverton to Redninja's. Thank you again to Karen and Carl ( or is it Karl) for graciously allowing us to park the truck and trailer at your little slice of heaven.

You're very welcome...it was nice to meet you...and remember for next year, we can park you at Karl's son's place close to Denver !

How do you know it wasn't simply the last snow of the season?

It's hard to tell in Silverton. I used to live there a bit.

The KLR did pretty well tackling Poughkeepsie Gulch.

Those photos look great! I'll have to try that area next time I'm up there. Thanks again to all who put this together!!!!! John, Mark, Matt... and anyone else who helped. Had a great time on the SJ500 and then the rest of the week with great people I met. Looking forward to the NM ride in late sept. Definitely learned new skills and confidence. Thanks!!!!!!

I'm glad I didn't try to take the Tenere through Poughkeepsie Gulch. It looks like I would have been in over my head...again. :huh

That's my GF's store! She will love this pic. She is going to the town meeting on Monday as it has come to her attention that there are a few residents pushing to not allow OHV's inside the town. She went down and visited with some of the people at the event and even purchased some ROK straps and Wolfman pieces for me. She said everyone there was very inviting and she asked me to Thank everyone for coming to her town and she hopes to see all again next year.
