@ twisted throttle...great dry bag system! I didn't get my panniers in time for the trip and pulled the trigger on your bags. A decision held with no regret. My wife used them as a back rest on the way down and then hopped in her jeep to follow me back. I had the opportunity to run them in a few configurations and in varying degrees of rain. Bone dry. In the second shot I am in front of her, thinking maybe I should have let this front pass.

Always good to hear! The flexibility is one of the best selling points of the DrySpec bags. There is nearly no motorcycle out there that you cannot figure out a way to use these bags in. The photos are a perfect confirmation that the bags are indeed waterproof.

In Maypearl,Tx. It's off FM 916 just SE of FM 157. Pretty neat lil place. Mostly Harley style clothes. But pretty good atmosphere. They have a lil grill shack off to the side with misters that cool you down. It was kinda warm that day.

Are you certain the agent was looking at the 800? I've noticed some places call the 1200 a Tiger Explorer. Still too much money, mind you.

My lowly DR is $100 a year, full coverage. One more advantage of being a bottom feeder I guess.

Try Progressive or National General (formerly GMAC). I pay around $240/year on my 800 XC. I live in NY and your rates might be different.
I am an agent and the XC rate sounds far too high.
