PDX Off Pavement Ride

I was thinking Kingsley / Post Canyon OHV or Eddieville out 40 miles east of Hood River, on the WA side a few miles north of Maryhill, toward Goldendale. Kinsley is at 3000' or so, so it will be cold. Out east it might be drier. Another option is Pinemont OHV in HR. I might also go check out the Trials event on Sunday, if there's no riding on Sun. I could accommodate a Sat overnighter, if you were so inclined.

So, yeah, I'm flexible.

Sunday is actually a better day for me anyway - But, I think I will just wind up tooling around closer to home and getting used to the bike.

If anyone is interested in THAT kind of riding\exploring, let me know.

It's sure hard to plan around the weather right now. Every day brings on a new forecast! I ain't committing to nuthin for another day or so. Short of a driving rain I'd be up for riding someplace this weekend - maybe even both days.

It's been changing all week, I feel like I can never rely on the weather forecast more than 24-48hrs in advance! I'm game though! The lady of the house prefers sunday but can do either. Hoping that you guys won't mind riding with a bigger bike...

Don't forget that 2nd elk rifle season starts Sat.

Put a new exhaust on the WRR the last few days, and want to get er out someplace on Saturday - at least for a couple of hours. Kinda hard to get excited with that forecast though, any other fools planning on getting out?

Damn work is ruining my riding time!!!!

My plans were cancelled and I want to get out and ride for a couple hours-was hoping someone was in the mood too. Went up Washougal River Rd this past week. Bleh, I'll probably just work on some crap in the garage or maybe try to work at my second job....

You all getting blown away and rained out tonight too? Having the XL leave me stranded thursday not so bad. At least it was nice out and I did not get soaked. Beside it gave me a chance to see if I could still drink beer AALLLL DAY. If it had done the sorry sucker you are walking today I would be just as wet as riding. Windy raining night tonight. Hope I don't get any service calls.:eek1

If it's not pissing* rain on Saturday anybody wanna try to get some bikes dirty? I'm guessing the trails will be a muddy mess, but some coast range 2 track+ forest riding could be fun. Unless somebody else has some other/gooder idears.

I will be looking to ride street or off street Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, any time there is a reasonably dry break in the weather. Close to Portland since it will probably be pretty miserable still.
