Heading up that way alone the 18-20 of May...

Looking for some locals to ride with. I'll be in the Newberry/Rexton/Trout Lake area visiting family....

Like to ride single track, or could bring a dualsport...

I've been moved away for 30 years and don't remember the trails....

    (mid pack B rider)

    Thanks Tim

GLDS, has some great tracks for that area. They have a web site. And there are also tracks posted on this site. Hope you dig some locals to ride with, and the snow will be gone. Good Luck.

There was snow in the timber and along the north sides of building and stuff as of this past Tuesday. But it's days are numbered. Standing water is a bigger issue.

I was in the Munising (16 mile lake area) area this weekend; My drive still had some snow on it and was a little hard to drive up Friday morning; I was surprised that there was very little in the woods.

I launched off of the missile pad at the old raco airfield for a short ride sat.really no snow of any worth noticing, and hardly any standing water on the trails, and people complain about sand,it drains so nice:evil

Sandtown trails, despite the name, are really nice and have very little sand and even less traffic. Just a few minutes west of Newberry.

I'll be at my cabin in Curtis over the weekend, but gotta leave the day you roll in.

Only on the road. If you are trail riding you don't need them. If you ride the side of the county roads to/from the trails you will need a headlight and tail light. You are not allowed to ride the side of any state highway's (otherwise known as "M" roads) unless you have a license plate. You will need to get the 2 ORV Stickers.
