    Thank you, kind sir.

This is the last pic from 2009 that I have. Will have to have decided whether or not I'll be back for 2010 within a week. Yikes.

Oh, we've been negotiating via PM for a while now! Finally we came to an agreement, and yesterday I officially signed up for 2010.

Shoot, and I thought I was old enough to know better.

    See you in January!

General again. Driving a second truck that a friend of mine bought at the end of this past season, and we'll be hauling for Tli-Cho. For a couple of reasons I expect this season to be a good one for me...

i'm headed to Edmonton for work-- out of S.E. Michigan. i posted in the canadian forum to get some advice about taking my chevy 2500 HD 4X4 diesel up there and they recommended i read this thread. started from the beginning when you couldn't post a picture to save both bollocks but i really, really enjoyed reading this thread-- all 69 pages.

i have a factory heater in it but i really, really need a grill cover for it. it takes forever to heat up and at -20 last year in the U.P. i ran it for four hours and it never did make temp (195f).

for the record i did a bunch of work at the Detroit Diesel plant here (union Steamfitter) and watched them pushing out all those big motors. the Marine motors were the neatest, by far.

i had to work for the Germans. bunch of grumpy-arsed kraut faces. then they sent all their own guys over to install a bunch of machinery. pissed all over the IBEW and Millwrights (Millwrongs we call them). buncha Schmekels.

    Congratulations....I think? :D

Are you going to make a new thread for 2010? If so, post a link here so I can get in on that one also!

Great to see that folks are still reading this shite!

Yep, you do. Should be easy enuff to find one, though. If you have the $$ a remote starter is a nice toy, take my word for it.

BTW, I know who Bobby Sands was - what's your connection to him? Glad you enjoyed the thread!

I think I'll just contunue in this thread. Not going to make any special effort to keep it alive until January, but even if it goes off the radar it's easy enough to bring it back.

I think a Yellow Knife Ice Trucking 2010 thread would make it easier for people to see, and seperate the years. But its up to you. :thumb

    'cos they're shite?!:D

Nah, I haven't driven a Volvo truck for almost 20 years. Far as I know they're ok - there are a few up there. I think they do as well as any other make.
