    His last post on advrider was made December 17th, 2012. This is after I resurrected this thread in November. He has certainly seen the replies here I would assume, and he has posted in other threads, but not here. I'm not sure what is going on. I have since sent him a pm that he hasn't yet responded to (I'm not sure if I sent the pm before or after December 17th).

    Frederic is alive and well. He was in Los Angeles last week and last summer borrowed the ADV Loaner Honda Shadow 750 and spent around 6 weeks touring the Western United States - part of it with the lovely Laurane
