Funny how our prejudices can be proven wrong once we open our minds a bit, ain't it? Or maybe its just that our tastes change. IDK. Either way, I know the feeling all too well. I'm still fairly shocked when I hear myself say, or even think, that I have a Harley now.

I'm pretty sure with all the accessories available for Harleys that you could set it up any way you like. I have Harley's Sundowner seat on my Nightrod Special and it's the best seat I've ever had on a bike.I test rode one of these and thought it was probably the best handling Harley I'd ridden. They can be set up with mid controls also, if that's your preference, as they were originally offered with either mid or forward controls.

Good point...My main concern is the fatigue from the wind over about an 8-10 hour riding day. I did see that Memphis Shades sells a quick detach Batwing for it. That plus some detachable lowers and Harley's hard bags might do it?

Almost bought a Ducati Monster (2009 696 black w/650mi on it) yesterday, on my birthday. I resisted. Why? It wasn't red, and it was a 696. If it was Red, OR was a 1100, I would've gotten it.

I want a red 796 or 1100 Monster. Always have. Might make it happen this year.:deal

OR a trials bike. That would be cool too.

Man, that off-road Ducati is one tough looking bike.

    Is it a custom?

I just bought a spanking new Griso. It is a very nice bike. I'll post some pics of it when I get the boat anchor exhaust replaced.

Aww, come on man! You can't say you just bought a cool new bike and not post at least one pic! We wanna see! You can start your own mod thread later once you start changing things but in the meantime.....

Had the chance to observe and sit on one of these today at the International Motorcycle Show in Cleveland. Would love to have one in the stable.

what i want is a new Yamaha Venture.

a NEW ONE. not the same 1999 carbureated model,
with 2013 on the VIN plate.

i want Yamaha to restyle the Venture to look more
like the Victory Cross Tour, and put the 1700cc
    new VMax motor in it.

Yamaha's asking $18 grand for their "new" 1999
Ventures. They ought to be able to build the bike that
i describe for $ 20k, and sell about 4 times as many units
    of the NEW Venture.

    am i wrong?
