No, there were so many people and there was so much to see. But, Ice-T, his wife Coco, the Bostrom brothers, Paul Teutel Jr, Ricky Gadson and some other Hollywood/gossip type folks were there...

Rode to work this AM. No electric clothing, etc. Felt ok except for my thumbs froze even with the heated grips. 24 deg and a 37 mile commute. :D

    More pics!

Lot's of these ridiculous 360 mm rear tire bikes on display...

I guess the next iteration from the 360 mm tire would be training wheels?:D

From the General Assembly via Matt Danielson-Lawyer Dude:

HB 2374, which clarifies the definition of a moped to make it clear that a moped traveling in excess of 35 mph is a motorcycle for the purposes of State Code, will be heard in Transportation Sub-Committee 2. We do not expect opposition to this bill as it is already law. We just want to make sure that the actual definition makes it clear so that the statistics showing the number of people cited for operating a motorcycle without a license are not artificially inflated due to people on mopeds being cited when they did not have prior knowledge.

So I guess my home made Orange County Choppers 50cc Yamaha Vino scooter that I hot rodded with a Provo Scooter Stage 2 kit that allowed it to hit 50 mph is now a real motorcycle! Sweet! Yes, I actually commuted on this thing for a year! (1.3 miles each way!) It was loud as a weed eater!

And there lies the problem. Since it is a motorcycle, when operated above 35 MPH, it will require title, licensing, and insurance.

I really wish they would do away with titling requirements for older and smaller vehicles, like some other states have.

There's been an interesting series on PBS over the last several weeks - WWII - Behind Closed Doors.

    Anyone else been watching this??

    The welding/cutting table is done.

It's almost square, the legs are somewhat straight, some of the (stick) welds look like $hit - but - I did it. Suffice to say, it's as solid as a rock.

And yes, the fog is from the welding.

Almost getting the hang of stick welding... again. Never have been any good at it, but after 36 years of not striking an arc, I'm happy to say I'm getting a little better at it. The Miller Syncrowave 200 has some wonderful features to help prevent sticking a rod... and it works. Used the TIG to fill in the gaps since I didn't have anything around to "slug" them.

    We're happy. :lol3
