    Hey Anti,

Lovin' the RR... Have stayed quiet so far since there are some great people on here who seem to have it covered. I'd love to ride to an "Italian supermodel Rally" to meet some of you F2F! BTW I loved the video of you off road on YouTube. Great!

I also love the fact that there's always a Fiat 500 at every Ducati dealer. I haven't been to the dealer in Victoria since we moved here but bet there is one there too!

I have been out enjoying this fall weather on my Multi but when I can't get out there personally I love to vicariously follow your exploits on here... As I have said before, thanks for sharing and taking us along!

Make sure to watch the Valencia MotoGP this weekend - pretty exciting season finale.

Back to our regularly scheduled programming... ;-)

Awesome pictures again, and I love the video! It really shows how quickly you can make a decision without anyone stopping you - it takes you a few seconds to get off the highway and start riding on a trail, with a superbike. Just like that.

Also, as a Swiss, I'll have to say that Mt Hood is almost as beautiful as the Matterhorn - you should come see it for yourself sometime. ;-)

    "Matterhorn-like". It's a simile.

Looking forward to the Alps, lurw. :)

I sorta did this around the time you posted this, but didn't get around to writing a short rr until now. I had a few days off so I went to hang with a friend who lives in Paris, but instead of just taking a car or the tgv I rode there across some backroads. It was a great experience and I will def. take more longer rides when spring rolls around again.

    Here's my rr http://advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=935569

    and thanks for inspiring me.

Looks evil, DeeDub--and I, too, Blader, was surprised that MotoCorsa was the source of that hilarious photo shoot. That's the kind of guys (and gals) they are.

Duflul--you're just stoking the "international ride" fire burning in me. Nice bike, too!

So I've been offline for about a week. I won't bore anyone with the details, but lets just say I've had better times.

Ran across something cool this morning, though, and thought I'd share:

    And under the cover?

My first published print article. Bike called me about a month ago and asked me to write the piece. As a life-long voracious reader of both auto and bike mags, this was a little bit of a dream come true for me. I had piles and piles of Fast Bikes and Bike (and of course Sport Rider and Motorcyclist) and would read through them over and over until stacks of publications would overrun whatever small studio I was living in. The bikes, the rides, the articles, the experiences....I could never get enough and never imagined that words, pictures and a trip of my own would appear...fuck...unreal.

(Doh!: They put Death Valley in the wrong part of CA, though.)

Congrats on the article Anti! I would love to read it, but alas, not a magazine I will find on my local stand here in Central Florida. Are they going to post it on their website?

    Cheers,

    Mike

Thanks, I'm sure we'll get to ride together someday! I'm picking up a copy of the mag as soon as it hits the stands, virtual or otherwise.

:lol3 outrageous use of the English language.

Many more serious & eloquent notes in your ride report, but damn this was funny.

This must have put the editors of Bike over the edge!

If you ride east (not at this time of year) I can offer a one star experience of the rotten apple (friends in low places) just because.
