They aren't available now, but.... Many, many years ago there was a thing called a 'map'. I think that's correct spelling.
Never used them, but they look interesting. I think you can actually view the routes on a map at http://www.treknow.com/
No offense taken....there is alot of truth in what you say... When are you gettin' that DRZ ? I just finished doing a few mods to my DRZ and would love to join you on one of your mexicali adventures.
I recently ordered the TrekNow CD for the Oregon Back Country Discover Route and it seems like a great product so far. Havn't road tested it yet but it comes with both Routes and Track logs as well as map images and roll charts. Had a question on a feature and I sent them an email and got an answer back the next day. Seems like a pretty good deal to me.

The beauty of these CDs is that they have 4x4 routes already programmed in...its like a virtual tour guide.... And with old school maps, you really have to stop and figure out where the hell you are....whereas with the fancy GPS, you can keep riding and really improvise as you go along...I find that incredibly hard to do with a printed map.
