    son has been working at the store doing the grunt work, and has saved up enough to purchase his first truck, and being the hillbillys we are he/we found this to build

    but we've had several leads on others,

    He should have fun with it. I bought my oldest a 1951 Chevy in a lot better condition, but ended up selling after not very much had been done in two years.

    nope, 800 so far, cabs from 4-600, needs a fender and hood, labor all ours, paint suppys at cost, truck is about a 3k truck when done

    it's reallly wrinkled,really out of square, but the left side doors were open/closing just fine, i"ve pushed some up ,but never this far down. it's really out of square on the right rear,

    Father and Son projects are fun but that's gonna be a lot of work if you keep that cab. At least parts are cheap for those S10's. Probably want to install a roll cage so he's not relying on that roof.

    I think the K5 and the C/K10 on either side would probably have been cheaper projects.

    the K5 and the K20 have both already been projects, the K20 is a 1980 that my grandpaw purchased NEW. the K10 was full on restore, hood,fenders,quarterpanells,engine trans,interror, now it just sits:cry

    First one was a 47 ford four door ---6 months of broken bolts & busted knuckles still had a pile of junk :lol3 --but learned alot about how to finesse a rusted head off a rusted bloc, what works & what don't & how to cusses like like a sailor :lol3 --Dad was proud of me at 14 :rofl
