So I'm trying to drag Beater and Blaine with me, and KLR Mike. Anybody into riding off road Saturday? Probably will only be there Saturday night and sunday morn, but I can' tmiss another....so it'll have to do. Planning on riding Hurricane Creek.

Meltdown in Hendersonville is Saturday or Sunday. Not to be missed. Vintage bikes out the ying yang. Brewery.

Trying to drag Matthews ragged ass out for it. He needs to ride his old Guzzi, but he'll probably want to ride the KLR so he can play. If I can get the XL125 solid, I may bring it... but it'll probably be Das Beast. Good for loping interstates, back roads, trails and just about anywhere. It's a damn old BMW airhead, and they'll go just about anyware - at their own pace mind you.

    Weeee....

Not sure which bike I'll take as it depends on if I get away early on Friday then the G/S as I won't have to make time. If late then the R1150RS via boring police infested interstate. Plan on going to the meltdown to enjoy the show. Hoping I'll be on the G/S that will mean a scenic gravel/ dirt ride home!!!

Just off the phone with Matthew. He says "I don't do the net... can't be bothered, but I want Hardware Girl to know I'm going to do my best to come up and run Hurricane again and the wife will be driving up support..."

    So, message passed. We'll see.

Did 60+ miles on Das Beast tonight. Ended up The Wedge and drained the float bowls. Uh oh. Left gasket for float is kaput... hell, no wonder it wouldn't idle. Ran good though ;)

Damn gas today or a 30 year old gasket. Whatever. It'll be fixed soon. Das Beast is one sweet ride.:eek1

Right now the weather forecast for next weekend is looking good. If it stays that way I am going to spend the weekend at Cruso. Any of guys that want to come out and play? If so, I'll see you there.
