Just wanted to day that I had another product and only used it once, then switched to your bag system and love it.
The only fault I have had if the strap has melted a bid by my exhaust pipe but seems to be holding. Might have been my fault the way it was tied to the rear foot pegs, But I can't be sure lol.
If I can make a suggestion on the inner stuff sacks/ dry bags to make them compression sacks also. I use one compression sack in the top and I can put more gear in it then a normal/ your bag. Maybe just one or two of them an option to buy... just an idea. I know you can buy after market ones (I have one) but yours would be made to fit.
Food for thought on how to get more money out of us :rofl

Thank you!!! Weighing up now whether I get my 3rd Coyote (had both the original and first trucker tarp model) or try the Kreiga Overlander system, decisions decisions:hmmmmm.

Call GL today - the guys took measurements for my answer. The answer is...no - won't fit stock. Still, should be easy enough to fab a fabric bridge panel with velcro to extand the width and fit my needs. :)

Awesome customer service from the GL gang!

Thanks for riding with the Coyote Saddlebag! Love the pink bike! We have had customers cut their webbing straps and thread side-release buckles on to create a quick release system. Just be EXTRA super careful to make sure everything's tight - and stays that way when you ride. We can't recommend modifying our attachments, because we know the way they're constructed will hold up to just about anything. Ride while you can!

The solution is to unstrap one side and move stuff around. Minor pita, but still a pita...

Mojavi 2013 is also a revamped design.
It received the top adjustable fender hook straps. The previous fender hook strap was adjusted under the bag. It now has full width side pockets, instead of the narrowing taper towards the top, of the 2012 design. The final feature is the straps mounting the top pouch have been freed from the pouch, since they aren't sewn on, they can be removed when pouch is not in use, and used for any purpose.

    edit to add:

OlafofOregon, thanks for posting those pics from our Siskiyou fitting mission! They will help answer a bunch of questions.

Sportsguy, I was out of commission when you first posted your Q. Glad Dustin could get you squared away with a width number. I had adjusted them for a bunch of bikes, including big bikes with pannier frames, but couldn't answer your dimensional question without also calling the boys at the GL office.

Does the 2013 Great Basin come with stuff sacks or are they optional? Does it still have the internal pouch and bottle holders? When will it be available in the US? Thanks in advance.

Passenger pegs vs. no passenger pegs is one of the basic differences between the saddlebags in our line.

Designed for bikes with passenger pegs:
    Siskiyou Panniers
    Great Basin Saddlebag

Designed for bikes without passenger pegs:
    Coyote Saddlebag
    MoJavi Saddlebag

Of course, many riders mod their own mounting points on bikes without passenger pegs to fit GL's larger bags (like the KTM 690 without the optional factory passenger pegs), and the smaller enduro bike bags are also mounted on bigger adventure bikes.

2013 Great Basin Saddlebags start shipping on February 1. Stuff Sacks are now optional, along with Dry Pods. After many, many customer requests, we have removed everything except the Hot Springs Heat Shield from the Great Basin and Coyote Saddlebags, resulting in a more flexible and customizable packing platform - and a lower entry price (MSRP $399)!:deal

I picked up a previous gen Coyote and the new inner dry bags.
Both are sweet and perfect for my setup on the rear seat!!!

As per everything GL makes these dry bags are top shelf and fit in the Coyote like a glove. They are a must have to keep your gear 100% dry. They are fully taped and designed like the best dry bags out there but fitted to the Coyote.

As always the GL goes that extra step and the base Coyote has all you need.

I just went the extra step with the dry bags for the ultimate dry solution.
The extra price I paid was absolutely worth it.
I'll still seam seal the Coyote too as I want no leaks what so ever!

This is how i roll but with a new gray bag.
The look will be perfect low key and secure for my bike.
I use the 2 center straps to connect to the front edge of my rear rack.
