I belive the "936" is a replica...note the plate and signal lights. The Stratos is most definitely a replica. I am OK with replicas that stay true to the aesthetics, yet can deliver a more useable experience.

Can't argue that but I, like Dukeryder, have a jones for the Mustang I grew up with. It may not be as fast but it's fast enough

I don't even care that the car is built on a 78 Ford Fairmont chassis. The car is one of the best sounding cars ever made. Definitely was THE cool car to have when I was a teen, the car that was voted "Best Car" in our senior year book was one kid's 1988 GT.

Its got everything us 'Mericans want: V8, room, etc. Too bad it isn't an SUV. No SUV = no sales here in the US.

Its completely beside the fact that all SUVs are are tall wagons.

That looks the same as the Pontiac G8. They didn't sell well in the US, and are difficult to find.

The closest thing we have now is the Cadillac CTS-V. Expensive, but at least it is available with a proper manual trans.

Ah, but the difference is in the EPA classification. A wagon is held to a higher standard than is a same-size SUV.
