finish welding on the sidecar frame almost spent all day working on suspension It will be adjustable the top rocker is stainless the plate has a bronze bushing pressed into it its getting there Thanks for checking out my progress
Tired of having to think up superlatives for your work Zipper, how about you mill a few holes in the stainless arm so it doesn't look so massive, its a sidecar rig not an excavator arm LOL.I hope your going to do a sway bar also they really help keep things planted.Very nice.DB
It looks great man! I would call you a copy cat......but you gave me the idea. haha. Were you able to order that pipe for the leading link? Keep up the progress.
I've confused myself, I meant mill a few holes in the big aluminum rocker, so it doesn't look so massive.DB
You must be making some serious progress because your shop is starting to look pretty messy! haha Everything looks really great! I still need to find a fender for mine.
On Page 1 you posted up a pic of your new rim and I figgered it was for a car pusher but now I see that's the sidecar rim. Got any plans for a car pusher?
What's the purpose of the rocker? The end with the heim joint for adjusting ride height? I'm just not seein it yet unless its for that purpose, the way it's hooked up it can't be for a cantilever suspension because of the shock placement. Spill beans please, and great work btw
It looks very functional & strong....How is the fender mounting coming? have you worked on the body much?
