The swelling is going down a bit today. I stayed off it yesterday and kept it elevated. At least it's not burning like the last time I smashed it this good...

This is killing me!!.......I so need my bike back. All this prime riding and I am just lurking at reports!!!

update from the shop is that......They are waiting on the main fairing bracket which of course is the center of the flippin' universe that holds all the cosmetic crap in place and they can't really do much of anything until that arrives!! UGH!. :puke1:cry:eek1

FLRider you will be ready to rumble when you get her back.......I will be out of town this weekend but am looking forward to a street ride when I return......

Hopefully we can all get together for a ride soon. It has been awhile since all of us have hooked up for a ride to where ever........The Holiday Park locals have to leave by the end of March the concessions have another year but the county will be controlling the camping areas...... I guess we have to wait and see if that can be our meeting place or not.....:deal

    Have a Great weekend everyone.....

That frame is sort of bent on my GS. It has to come from Germany, from the factory. I tweeked mine and re-welded the headlight mount rather than order the framework. Come over and you can ride with us on my DRZ. We're riding the Squares again Saturday or Sunday. Not sure yet. See SW Rides.

I was out this weekend, riding sofla's notoriously boring flat, straight highways.

The sunset was so gorgeous it looked like the forest was on fire.

I had a late dinner on the road but good lighting got me to where I needed to go.

One of the places I visited.

    Gotta love the views

You don't see white pelicans too often, especially inland.

Several years ago I took a picture of my Yamaha in front of this old building's remains and couldn't find it until I stumbled upon it today.

600 miles for the weekend. Kinda hate to pull out all my camping gear for just one night, maybe I'll keep it all packed up and go out again next weekend. Sounds like a plan!

Looks like a good ride Pepper ! I ran the Beemer up to Inverness to look at some property Saturday. Being a solo trip i didn't need any fancy cabin or hotel so i pitched a tent at Fort Cooper state park. primitive site with water and piles of firewood 5 bucks :D 628 miles :evil [IMG] [IMG]

Dang that looks like fun. Found a broken bolt on my KLR footpeg so I didn't do any off road this weekend. Nice little ride Sunday to Cafe 27 on the Harley for a burger and beer. I'm surprised no one ever mentions that place. If you all are planning any get aways this coming weekend, let me know.

On a side note, I've been fixing up the house getting it painted and all. I'm looking for a company that does seamless gutters if anyone can recommend a local company, let me know.

I grew up in NorthDakota. All we had were white pelicans!

Just wanted to let you all know that as of tomorrow the Loop Road will be open to through traffic. In a few months another road project will be underway for the paved section from the Monroe County line west to the Loop Road Education Center. This project may require short term closures of the road. I will send out notices if and when this occurs.

    Have a good day.
