In Big Bend, "neanderthal milk crates" are everywhere to be found. Its even better if you can find the rock that gave you the flat and use it. :deal

Just got back from bombing around Terlingua and the Nat'l Park. No flats for us, but busted foot pegs and leaky fork seals.

Supposedly they're planning on releasing the Adventure version this fall. Either way, if I was going to buy one I would probably wait another model year or two, let em work out the bugs.

I figure with them already out, most bugs will be worked out by the time I get one...

Assuming it goes for $25k and you saved $10 a day, you'd have the cash and they'd have the bugs worked out at about the same time (6 years, 310 days). :norton

A goal to shoot for then. Until then, I keep my '07 and pretend it is a better bike and that any changes to the GS since then, are just ill conceived and not worthy of the money required. When I finally do buy a new one I will make sure to hold it out as the paragon of motorcycle engineering and wonder how all the little people get by without one. :)
