Hey, What TC should I use as a constant? I thought TC 2 was less aggressive then 1.
but it sucks to always have to set it to 2. For regular riding (highway, city etc) what do you use?

Basically can someone give me a list of TC and what environment and when we should use them such as downpour to light rain. mud etc.

2. Snow
3. Rain heavy
4. light rain
5. tarmac dry
6. gravel

Personally I like it off all the time. TC II is more fun off road if you like the
back end to play a little. TC I kills the fun and is really bad when you want
power on a loose hill or dare I say sand!?

I'm heading on a trip in a few weeks with a guy on a KTM 990. I know he'll have a tube I can use should I bend a rim. What should I take to back him up?

On an actual Tenere question kind of note...

After viewing the series of photos where the Tenere bit it on the Dragon over the weekend: http://xtremesportsphotography.photoreflect.com/store/ThumbPage.aspx?e=8917924&g=0QAK01CZ08, I got to looking at my skid plate to see if it would touch down before my peg feelers. Then I noticed I don't have a peg feeler on the right peg:huh.

Is this normal? Left peg has a big ol' 3/4" peg feeler on it.

Either ground off, fell off, or broke off.....


I fixed mine by adding pivot pegs.....

Yes. It has to do with when typical boxes touch down. One box is usually further out than the other.

Just another little design touch that people don't notice in reviews.

Must have fallen off. Wait... I did hit a deer on that side a few months back. I took a good shot to the foot and the bag was knocked back a few inches on that side. I bet it broke off then. Damn fragile bike.

Oh well, good reason to get those new pegs I've been wanting. Pivot Pegs, eh?

That is correct. Back in the dark ages some time an engineer at a launch was reported, believe it or not, as saying that a typical box will protrude further on the left than the right. So thay put a little feeler in there asuming that a typical owner may want to know when you are about to touch down the expensive panniers.

I checked mine after reading this and same here...there is a feeler on the left peg but nothing on the right. There is, however, an empty threaded hole. Is it possible that it fell off?
