Caught up with Julien from France who I rode with in Africa, was just like yesterday we were riding through Tanzania, Kenya and Ethiopia together, he has travelled through the Stans, Mongolia, China, South East Asia, Australia and South America since, what an amazing adventure he has had, makes me want to go on one of myself

I agree with Old Pete... I watch all of your videos Sheldon, and the fast forward of the Panama Canal transit was awesome. I'm looking forward to hearing about the trip on the Stahlratte.

I've finally got to the end of this after about a week of staying up way too late every night. But at -6F outside I'm not doing much riding. The Wisconsin season is not yet conducive to it. Keep up the good work and I do watch the videos. But I have to admit that I first saw Ewa's RR because of the intriguing title. Hers is short enough to only lose one nights sleep. But then I got sucked into the vortex of yours. Great report so far.

We live in Madison- a great place- and if you go through here next year you have place to stay. And I'll throw in an airplane ride.

No updates for a few days....I'm betting they're sailing on the Stahlratte at the moment down to Colombia.....hope they are not seasick!

To all my friends in their offices in the frozen Artic north to the towns of Australia or anywhere else in the world who are worried about my whereabouts let it be known that my good luck has changed and im now stranded on a deserted island, so please feel for me as you get up early and are off to that nice comfortable place of work, rest assured I will keep struggling away trying to survive through each torturous day and I wont go down without a fight. Thank you for your kinds thoughts everybody. By the way if you didn't know I was a bastard by now this should just about seal the deal.

In my world it's probably just my devilishly good looks and debonair charm that has won her over Danielle, in the real world its more likely to be that she just has a charitable heart and has a soft spot for assholes, either way Im still the winner. And don't worry being the fair minded guy I am I'll find her a cemetery to look at in the next week or two and we will call it a draw Every time I think of that deal it brings a smile to my face. :d

Sometimes when you go to places you think to yourself, what the hell did these people stop here for, sometimes that questions is easier to answer.

What the hell is going on here all the while Im down the beach throwing coconuts at the Strahlratte crew and its minions trying to protect them from the invasion all the help I get is them gazing into each others eyes, what is the world coming too, get a coconut and throw it for gawds sake.
