It seems likely that it will be possible to use the motocross track for sidecarcross and enduro demos and “try outs”. The grass track boys already have an area for their demos. I am not sure whether there is somewhere suitable for LDT and trials sidecars, but hopefully there is.

If you have a sidecar you are willing to bring for the display, and to give the public a go at passengering (and possibly driving if you are comfortable with that idea), please let me know whether you can come both days or one day only, what your bike and discipline is, and your success as a competitor. Last year on Sunday, there was a parade on the tarmac race track of the offroad outfits, which I really enjoyed!

How about some sidecar club display stands, both road and competition? May be a section for sidecars for sale?

The Festival of Sidecars is a great weekend! All the racing is sidecars of every variety, from World Champions to novice club racers, from the newest outfits to vintage and classics. The road racing sidecars will have some “taxi ride” sessions where you can passenger (leathers needed, can be zip-together two piece, and some riders will bring spare leathers, gold stamped helmet, leather gloves and boots).

The bar connecting to bike lifts off ,it is only for when it is slippery or parking. You then ride it like a solo

    Tezza,

I just googled around and found some useful references. Some further digging might turn up the kinds of drawings or plans you're looking for. I hope this helps!

I like the Armec design especially. It looks like their web page is no more. I think you may be able to find enough pictures and such to replicate the design.
