Yeah, and because of that woman's cookin' for us in October I'm still on a friggin' diet in February!!! :dg
Just because she left enough pie on Friday to carry us through the weekend didn't mean we had to eat all of it. (Although I kind of took it as one of things to do out politeness.)
I would check out Davidson River Campground in Brevard. It is a National Forest Service campground and has plenty of room for a Toy Hauler. It is about 25 miles from Cruso on Highway 276. You will have a big smile on your face when you get to Cruso each morning. 276 is a GREAT ride going up over the Blue Ridge Crest and then back down to Cruso.
The first post in this thread has all the folks that are definitely "in". If I missed anyone let me know.
Go ahead and list me as IN. I may even ride the airhead this time. (Especially since the F650 started acting up and pissing me off two days ago. ) The R80 is more fun in the hills anyway. It's just that the F 650 has better highway legs for traversing Floriduh and the less interesting bits of GA I ride through. And if I start sorting and locating my rally gear by next week, I should be ready to pack and load by April. No, really. :huh
Add the wife & I to the list. I've already reserved the time off. She will probably be on the R80ST; I'm gonna plan on riding the Norton this time.
just got word that pics of my Morini will be displayed at "the Meltdown" in Hendersonville ... (guess that decides on the bike I will be bringing)
