JUST HEARD THAT THE PRODUCTION BIKE WILL GET A 250 VERTICAL. THE BIKE IN THE PHOTO WAS A 1-OFF BUILT FOR MR. KITAMO IN TOKYO.
What about a visual replica of one of those babies. Powered by a genuine V-twin with syncopating exhaust tones,Warbling awayusing ,modern tech,,yeah,,girder too,,,underslung frame,,, And built to last,,?????? Just for starters,, Just curious what your dreams come true would encapsulate,,, Holler,, Curious woody ,,,,,, Regarding the 'spam' alegations,,,well there's vendors forum,,check wiith the moderators i they'llset tya straight,,, Me,,they claim i'm a 'straight arrow' ,,,,made of rubber
woo hoo. now we're talkin. Would be fun to mount a little Virago 250 Vtwin in that frame. Or even a brigs air cooled twin with an auto clutch arrangement, possibly a TQ converter concealed to look like a primary or something. Lot's of options.
The 600 twin from the Shadow is chain drive. Much easier to deal with than the Ascot shaft. There are chain drive 750 Shadows as well. Too much is barely enough.
HERE IS ANOTHER COMPANY I HAVE BEEN FOLLOWING......LOCATED IN THE USA BUILDING CUSTOM BOARD TRACKER STYLE BIKES.....http://www.janusmotorcycles.com/Janus_Motorcycles/Home.html
If you really are up on things you'd realize this looks NOTHING like a board tracker. It looks like Henderson Four that had the engine yanked and some Honda step thru putter stuck in there. Henderson with big honking frame: Board tracker, Indian specifically, with frame wrapped tightly around engine: This was instantly apparent to me. Make it look like that REAL tracker and you might have something.
Not counting the original bike, but the others in this thread are pretty cool. I think I need to create my own bike now. I've got a foundry and a machine shop.. at home.
Well, I liked it. Obviously there's lots of room for improvement. Forks would be the first thing to go, but it's a fun bike, not an artistic statement. As I said earlier, a Punsun diesel V-twin would be nice in there with a bit of bodging.
