I was looking for a "all terrain" scooter and ideas. I found a couple. http://modifikasimotormatic.blogspot.com/2010/08/honda-beat-trail-of-road-modification.html Yamaha Fino,
Your ride and pics are exceptional. I need to make the blue ridge and smokes a trip this year with the Silver Wing. I'm looking at the Memorial Day weekend with the Cincinnati, Ohio Riders
I've had it for over a year and loved every minute. I don't own a car, so she's my primary form of transportation. I'm hoping to do some back road touring/camping this summer and hopefully make it to Amerivespa in New Orleans this year.
Thought that I would share my scooters with everyone. We found the little 1989 Elite E sitting for sale on the side of the highway outside a motorcycle dealership. It made me smile so we bought it. The engine was in pathetic shape so the first order of business was to upgrade with an 87cc stroker engine, expansion pipe and new carb. The end result is a scary fun ride that can hit 60mph on a good day. It weighs 119 lbs. Scooter #2 is a 2005 Zuma that we just finished putting an Athena 70cc big bore kit into. We are in the midst of doing the final tuning on it, new clutch springs and rollers. It has a Zenzen expansion chamber and a Oko 21mm carb installed. So far the power band has increased considerably and I'm looking forward to riding it this summer. I was really glad to see the extensive scooter forum on ADV along with dual sports and off road bikes.
