Question GTA Riders MegaThread

If there are any GS riders in the greater Toronto area looking to meet up and do some light dual sport rides, or plan a long trip, drop me a line.. Maybe we can plan a few short rides in the area and possibly a longer trip to ... James Bay?... or... open to suggestions.

Doesn't matter what you ride, as long as you are willing to ride it off the beaten track.. Check you PM.

Ontario Riders

We went to James Bay last year, will have to post a couple of pictures when I get home. I would like to do the Trans-Labrador or Dempster highway next.

If this does turn into something, can I tag along too??

I'll be able to keep up with my R-RS on the pavey stuff, and once you play in the dirt i'll just wait around until you've gotten it out of your system, and we can ride on real roads again!

Add me as well, if you would.

I'm heading on toronto --> cali -->vancouver(??) --> calgary --> toronto, first week of may, for a couple of weeks ride.

If anyone want is heading that way, please le me know.
Any suggestions on route would be appreciated.

Just want to make sure I catch some parks in the "Grand Circle", but other wise, it's where the roads take me.

Thanks.

Hey there, Toronto riders. Just found this post and I thought I'd add my own comments to it.

I got my 1200GS a month ago, and will be taking off for a ride up to James Bay in 3 days (September already). The weekend I got the bike, I put 1,126km on it right away - and then the thing broke down in the shop of Downtown BMW (don't ever take your bike there, they wrecked my alarm, starter, and panniers, and delayed a simple tune-up by 3 whole weeks with their blunders).

So I just got it back last night, and within the next few days I'll add another 3,200km on it - and a huge grin on my face, hopefully!

nick, from Sc'arlem!
