XR650L Wiring Diagram in Color

XR650L Wiring Diagram in Color

If you would like a full size copy of this color version PM me with your email. It's not perfect but it looks nice with the color added. If you find any errors PM me and I will correct and re post it. This is originally from 4strokes.com I just took it and added the color.

Enjoy

Does anyone know what the part number is for the Double Diode? It's located next to the headlight. I can not find it on the micro film.

dang- I checked the harness fiche, the frame, the headlight, handlebars, speedo, headlight, etc. over at bikebandit but cannot find mention of that diode.

maybe it comes with the harness? Looked for that, but...

If you need a replacement for that, 2 diodes from radio-shack would work just fine.

Yea, same deal here Dave I looked and looked but can not find it anywhere. I have a 2002 and looked under the "2002" section and also the 1993 section, still no luck. I guess mine is ok, no problems to speak of just wanted to carry a spare for my Mexico trip. I'm not even sure if there is one on my bike! I just assume there was.

How many amps?

Personally I'd favor a lead from the batt going to a relay controlled by a switch that gets its power from a 'key-on only' circuit.

Old thread still useful

Guys thank you for your work. I still use your schematics when I am doing wiring on the bike. I am wiring up an LED volt meter. It was so nice to be able to figure where I wanted to get the power from.

Also, nice to be able to figure out how to bypass the side stand switch. "For racing purposes only"
