Tasmanian Riders Hub
Hello Taswegian Riders & Visitors,
###Links to Tassie riding info below### Being of the slow kind and not always up with modern technology (like dial up connection instead of broadband, or 2nd hand DR650 instead of a new Husky or whatever), methought that it'd help me if we had a Tassie Riders thread. Only one place to go to and look if I'm short of time or brain-space. Purpose would be to organise little trips, point to where big trips are organised and reports can be found, find out what Tassie riders are on ADVrider, exchange info about good or bad deals, and whatever ... Does this idea have a future? ![]() May just start this thread and see if it leads anyhere? ... Darwinian theory at its best ... :-) a. _________________________________________________ Links to info about riding Tassie ... Other websites or the likemore to come when I happen to come across them ... a. _________________________________________________

Mellow Camping Escape to Lime Bay 14-15 April
Justin (Lemming #2, red DL650) and me are thinking about a mellow camping overniter at Lime Bay Sat/Sun 14-15 April.
Lime Bay is north of Saltwater River on Tas Peninsula at the end of an easy dirt road. Free camping and fires permitted. Need to bring water. Meet at Richmond Bakery Sat 12.30 for a pie and ride from there or catch us at Lime Bay. Anyone else interested? :-) a. PS: A few pics below.

Count me in, I am off to Bicheno for the show and shine on Friday night, a ride down the dirt to Copping on Saturday will be pleasant.
Won't organise a meeting at a pub this time ![]() I go back to work the next weekend, so a good escape will be welcome.

I get over the bandwidth problems by setting up a search that just shows threads that have new posts in the Asia/Oz/Kiwi forum since the last time I was here. Then I saved this, and this is what opens up, instead of just the normal Forum. I skim down to see if there are any threads that I'm interested in that have new text, or if there are any new threads I car read them as well if the title gets my interest. Just my 2c Charlie |

Duke...

Did you know
Well I just thougt I would do a quick advert.
This is not to take anything away from AR but I have just started a new forum purely for Tasmanian Riders. It will not matter what style of riding you are into Tasmania Motorbike Riders (TMR) will have a home for you. We are very new and looking for all members of the Tasmanian riding community to help out with questions and answers... It will make it much easier to communicate with fellow Tasmanian Riders as the forum is going to be completely Tasi Based... Anything goes but the origin is Tasmania and its riders I hope you will give us a look in...
